Oregon Enjoys A Day In The Presidential Politics Spotlight
Portland, OR May 9, 2008 4:06 p.m.
Friday the political eyes of the nation turned west to Oregon. Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are campaigning here.
The visits come at a dramatic time in the primary battle, when lots of politicos are calling for Senator Clinton to drop her bid and concede that she can't win the nomination in the face of the support Senator Obama has gotten.
OPB reporter Rob Manning went to Oregon Health and Science University Friday morning, where Clinton appeared.
And our Salem correspondent Chris Lehman caught up with Obama in Beaverton, where the senator visited a software company.
