Online Site Helps Measure Your Carbon Footprint

Oregonians interested in living greener and reducing their ‘carbon footprints’ have a new online resource.
GreenPowerOregon.com has been developed by the local power utility Portland General Electric, and it can help you determine the impact of your energy use and even help you determine whether or not you live in a neighborhood that’s embracing renewable power.
Thor Hinkley, the manager of PGE’s renewable power program, came to OPB’s studios and I asked him to figure out my personal electricity ‘carbon footprint’
