FCC Commissioner Visits Northwest To Promote Digital Conversion
Portland, OR October 20, 2008 2:22 p.m.
The clock is ticking on analog television. Broadcasters have been talking a lot about the about the switch to digital for months.
Now, with the February 17 deadline getting ever closer, the FCC is taking to the road to get the word out.
Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein is leading town halls on the DTV transition in the Northwest this week. He'll be in Portland Monday.
Commissioner Adelstein joined us by phone from his office in Washington D.C.
